General Questions

When should I go to the ER instead of Urgent Care?

At Newbury Park Urgent Care, we treat most illnesses and injuries. If you are concerned that you are experiencing a serious medical emergency, please dial 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

What insurance do you take?

We accept a variety of insurance plans including PPO, HMO, and Medicare. See our insurance page for a complete list.

Do I need to make an appointment?

No need to make an appointment. Come by anytime during normal business hours.

Can I make a payment over the phone?

Yes we do!  Call (805) 499-0308 anytime during normal business hours and we’ll be happy to assist you.

What illnesses and injuries do you treat?

We treat everything from allergies, rashes, and flu to sprains and broken bones. For more information, see illness & injury.

How long will I have to wait to be seen?

Wait times vary. Once you are registered at the front, our back-office staff will bring you back for your history and vitals. If you’re a new patient, you can save time by filling out a new patient registration form.

Are you setup for virtual telemedicine consultations?

Yes, we are! You can now receive medical care without leaving home! Find out more by visiting Virtual Care.

Why didn't I receive an antibiotic?

Doctors do not always prescribe antibiotics, especially if an illness is viral.

Urgent Care

Newbury Park Urgent Care conveniently fills the gap between your primary care physician (PCP) that you can’t see soon enough, and the emergency room. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded experience for each individual. All our providers are Board Certified and committed to a high level of skilled health care services.

Primary Care

At Newbury Park Urgent Care, we provide primary care in addition to our standard services for certain physicians. Please call to make an appointment.

Women's Health Exam

Women’s health exams are available upon request. Services include:

  • Pap Smear
  • Physical
  • Contraceptive Counseling
  • Menopause Counseling
  • Mestruation Problems

(Includes Pap-Smear Lab Fee’s)


Men's Health Exam

Men’s health exams are available upon request. Services include:

  • Physical
  • Testicular/Prostate Exam

Cost: $150
(Includes PSA Lab Fee)

Physical Therapy

We offer on-site physical therapy with a licensed Physical Therapist who is an expert in Workers Comp, Orthopedic Surgery Recovery and specialized Functional Manual therapy.
